Who is Mumbells for

Is Mumbells for you? Here is who the app is designed for.

Mumbells is designed specifically for women who are pregnant, recovering from childbirth, or navigating the physical demands of motherhood. Whether you are an experienced gym-goer or completely new to fitness, our programmes are tailored to meet you exactly where you are in your journey.

Who We Support

Mumbells is ideal for:

  • Prenatal Women: Anyone currently pregnant looking for safe, expert-led strength and movement routines to stay active, reduce common aches, and physically prepare for birth.
  • Postpartum Women: Anyone who has given birth (whether weeks, months, or years ago) and wants a safe, structured way to rebuild core and pelvic floor strength and regain functional energy.
  • Mums Returning to Exercise: Women who want to get back into regular workouts safely, without feeling overwhelmed or following generic, high-impact routines not built for postnatal bodies.

Do I Need Prior Fitness Experience?

Not at all. Our platform includes workouts for all fitness levels. Every programme provides clear exercise demonstrations, technique guidance, and modifications so you can move at a pace that feels right for your body.

Medical Clearance & Safety

While Mumbells is built specifically for prenatal and postpartum safety, we always recommend the following before joining:

  • Prenatal Members: Ensure you have ongoing clearance from your midwife or GP to exercise during pregnancy.
  • Postpartum Members: We strongly advise waiting until you have had your official 6-to-8 week postnatal check-up (or clearance from your GP/women’s health physiotherapist) before starting any postpartum exercise programme.

Note: If you have specific medical conditions, high-risk pregnancy markers, or severe pelvic floor issues (such as prolapse or symptomatic diastasis recti), we always advise consulting your healthcare provider or a women's health physiotherapist before starting.
